White gold means a white toned alloy of gold, a result by using lightr colored additions of supplement metals. Most commonly used as an alloy is basically palladium a platinum secondary metal. The bleaching of the yellow gold arrives continuously, you need a certain amount of the bleaching metals; the rest of the missing total volume will be often completed with copper and/or silver.
24 carat is pure gold (fine gold). 18 carat white gold = 750 parts of gold, which means for example the stamp „750“ in gold goods stands for 750 of 1000 parts (3/4) pure gold.
CHROX uses the following gold qualities: 18kt white gold is a gold alloy of fine gold (750 parts) + palladium (nickel free).
18kt white gold is more expensive than 18kt yellow gold.
